JOB TITLE: PART TIME FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

REPORTS TO: MANAGEMENT TEAM

ROLE OUTLINE

We are recruiting a qualified and experienced Finance and
Administration Assistant. This is a part-time position initially
requiring * - * hours
per week.

THE ORGANISATION

The ACRG was established in * by a group from
Dublin’s North Inner City. The project opened officially in April of
that year with the specific objective of delivering a range of
practical supports to those in recovery from North Inner City. The
ACRG is a drug free project and offers a day programme to those in
recovery.

MISSION

ACRG (Aftercare Recovery Group is a structured drug free,
abstinence-based day programme for those in recovery from substance
addiction offering respectful and supportive rehabilitation, and
development opportunities to individuals facing the challenge of
recovery

ABOUT YOU

You possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, a high
level of confidentiality and can work independently.

You are non - judgemental, a team player, possess excellent
communication skills and can work on your own initiative.

You have excellent Computer skills including word, excel, outlook and
PowerPoint.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Day-to-day finance activities (e.g. payments, data entry to
Quickbooks).
* Preparation of monthly reconciliations (e.g. Bank Reconciliation)
* Preparation of monthly grant reports.
* Preparation of weekly salary information.
* Assisting Management team and staff with preparation of grant
budgets.
* Assisting with the preparation of end of year accounts for the
Auditors.
* Preparation of bi-monthly management accounts for the CEO and for
the board.
* Monitor and maintain accurate records of participants
documentation.
* Help and assist colleagues with duties when required.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Ideally qualified in IPASS or related qualification with at least
* years’ experience.
* Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
* Highly numerate and analytical.
* IT skills should include strong fluency in accountancy software
(Quickbooks preferable) and Microsoft Office.
* Proven track record of working in a financial / administrative
capacity.
